If you need help cooking your turkey this year Butterball can help. They have an 800 number, it’s 1-800-288-8372 and a Butterball specialist will talk you through any questions you may have. I know this because I have a friend who answers that number and is one of the Butterball Specialists. He told me he loves to call the 800 number and prank his fellow coworkers who also answer the calls. He shared with me a few of his pranks…One time he called to ask how long to cook a turkey and the specialist asked me how much the bird weighed and he said, “I don’t know, it’s still running around outside”. Another time he called and said he owned a restaurant and needed to know how to prepare a turkey for a vegetarian meal. He also asked if they had any turkeys that were stuffed with baby turkeys. My favorite is when he said he acted panicky on the phone and said he dropped his frozen turkey on the ground and it appeared to be walking away… he wanted to know if it was possible it was still alive.
