Imagine if you will a world so strange you can put in a 70hr week and make nothing from those efforts, If you have your probably a Realtor. And you always have to buy the food and beer when you meet clients. My wife told me you don’t always have to drink beer. I explained it this way. I need to connect with my clients, form a bond and become their new best friend almost immediately. It’s important that if they take a shot, I need to take a shot, if they order another pitcher, I can’t leave till it’s gone. I told her that being out drinking at bars 1-2 nights a week is almost hell to me. I explained it’s essential to our survival that I must do these things. I realized at this point in the conversation she began to question my reasoning. Being the quick thinking Realtor I am I stopped her mid-sentence and said, I’m sorry. I know I started the conversation, but I wasn’t really prepared for any follow-up.
