A simple misunderstanding

Greg Rosen- Unsupervised

I was invited to the Rockaway kite festival last weekend so I showed up ready to entertain and share a laugh or two. Not knowing what to expect, I came prepared. I set my table by the train station which is the busiest place for human interaction in the whole city. As the policeman explained to me, in detail, being invited by a friend to go see the Kite festival doesn’t give me permission to set up a table and hand out cards directing people to my web site. Officer Andrews also suggested that in the future should I get approval for something like this he suggested I don’t say “for a good time” check out my website. Furthermore, he said he was there because 4 people had called about some guy giving away free candy to kids, which he told me to never do again. I’ll admit it was a little embarrassing but I don’t think it was a total disaster. I’ve heard it said any press is good press and the picture of me being handcuffed and led away will probably make the front page of the Rockaway newspaper! I can’t wait to see it next week, this could finally be the big break I’ve been waiting for.
